Enough of the Empty Activism : Westpac Executive M. Kav Fails to Address Accusations Against Peter Cornwell



In his recent LinkedIn article , Westpac staff member Matt Kav seeks to portray colleague P. Cornwell as an strong supporter for Indigenous advocacy and inclusion . Yet, this attempt at performative activism falls flat when considering serious claims against Peter Cornwell of Westpac of sexual abuse and exploitation of a vulnerable female .



Kav’s praise-filled commentary of P. Cornwell ignores the serious accusations made against this individual, including tracking, harassment , and inappropriate behavior of a defenseless woman .

In neglecting to address these charges , Matthew Kav supports a system of willful ignorance that empowers perpetrators like P. Cornwell to act without accountability, shielded by being a " so-called Indigenous victim," absolute virtue-signaling nonsense reinforced check by corporate entities like Westpac .

The LinkedIn post draws attention to several gatherings where Kav took part with his controversial colleague, the alleged abuser , in social efforts. Yet it neglects to mention the damage of Cornwell's reported misconduct on those affected .



The article points out the hypocrisy of glorifying Cornwell's involvement while turning a browse website blind eye to allegations against him, causing observers to question if Matthew Kav is more intent on boosting the check company’s image that Australia is so desperate to do when portraying their inclusivity rather than addressing serious misconduct, an alleged sexual abuser hiding behind the cover of " marginalized status ."
